On September 8, 2009 Palác Flóra has prepared an educational morning in cooperation with the Metropolitan Section of Prague 3. Children had an opportunity to try the basics of first aid, measuring of blood pressure and resuscitation. Available for viewing was a fire intervention truck, ambulance car, along with technology and equipment used by riot control units of the Capital City of Prague Metropolitan Police, which demonstrated detention of a dangerous offender. And then the fire brigade unit climbed down on the ropes to meet the children. The firemen have also shown the children how to rescue people from the inside of vehicles. The entire program also featured games and contests in which the little rescuers competed for gifts donated by Vodafone.l
